After many years of mediating cases and helping lawyers improve their practices, I have retired from the active practice of law. This site remains up to allow download of resources and as an announcement of my retirement. I continue to teach Public Policy Dispute Resolution at the law school, and to work on democratic engagement through my consulting firm, The Communications Center Inc.

I have also been working on a series of e-books to capture and pass on some of what I learned working over 30 years to prevent, manage, and resolve conflicts, particularly those that are complex, involve many stakeholders, and evoke strong emotions.

Although I am no longer providing law practice management services, several free downloads remain on our LPM page.

To all of my former clients, I enjoyed working with you and thank you for choosing me as your mediator or counsel.
